A Bergen Beach family with three kids got kicked off a Jetblue flight from Florida last month after a dispute between the parents, a customer, and a flight attendant, reports the Post.

The incident began when the family’s 1-year-old kicked the seat of another passenger on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to NYC on June 21. The miffed passenger commented to the parents, and after a back-and-forth exchange, changed seats.

But then an airline attendant approached the parents, and the argument escalated.

Video footage shows a flight attendant requesting the parents step off the plane to have a discussion about the incident, but they refuse. Another video shows the parents being escorted off the plane by security, repeatedly demanding an explanation from the flight attendant.

The airline told the Post that the family was booted from the flight because of the scene caused by the parents.

“The customers refused repeated requests, and our crewmembers deplaned the entire aircraft. Law enforcement escorted [the family] out of the gate area, and we provided a refund,” airline reps said to the news outlet.

Jetblue airline subsequently banned the parents and offered to refund their flight

After the incident that left the couple feeling humiliated, they’re contemplating a lawsuit alleging defamation of character and infliction of emotional distress, the Post reports.
