In Brooklyn–City Parks Foundation Offers Free Summer Sports Programs For Youngsters
Fun youth summer programs are coming to a park near you!
The City Parks Foundation is offering free tennis, golf, soccer, track & field and fitness instruction at nearly 60 locations across the city. The programs begin in early July and run until the mid- to late-August.
Participating youngster will have an opportunity to learn a new sport and compete with their peers. For instance, those who sign up for the track & field program will get to show off their skills at Icahn Stadium, the world class sports complex on Randall’s Island, at the end of summer.
