Sinterklaas – St. Nicholas Day & Tree Lighting

Come meet Sinterklaas at the Wyckoff House Museum 1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. Enjoy a traditional concert by colonial balladeer Linda Russell. Children will enjoy a special visit from St. Nicholas as he arrives on horseback around 2:30 p.m. In the Dutch tradition, visitors can feed St. Nicholas’s faithful horse carrots and hay. Children are invited to sign the Red Book with St. Nicholas before he tells the traditional tale of The Bakers Dozen.
Lott House 300th Anniversary Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting

Remarks from elected officials and community leaders will start at 5:00 p.m., followed by the arrival of a visitor from the North Pole, who will help with the flipping of the switch on our decor in the Court Street garden.
6th Annual Fort Greene Holiday Tree Lighting

Gather with neighbors for the annual event that is full of holiday cheer, including: free hot cocoa, cider & cookies from local Myrtle Ave restaurants! Selfies with Santa! Toy drive collection. Bring new, unwrapped toys to support toy drives that serve local families. Live holiday music. Lighting of the tree at 4:45pm!
The lighting this year will take place at the northwest corner of Fort Greene Park, near the Myrtle Ave & St Edwards St entrance.
