Brighton Beach Burglar Slides Under Security Grate To Rob Restaurant

BRIGHTON BEACH – Police are looking for a burglar who broke into the China Long Inc. restaurant at 197 Neptune Ave earlier this week.

The cagey criminal lifted up the the grate to the restaurant and slid under just before 3:00 am on Monday, October 16th. Once inside, the thief grabbed $300 from the cash register before fleeing, police said.

Surveillance footage below shows the criminal as he crawls out from the storefront, making his grate escape.

Police described the suspect as a man, 5’10”, 175 lbs., last seen wearing a white jacket, white baseball hat and white sneakers.
