BRIC’s First Biennial Starts On Friday

This Friday, September 19 will be the opening reception for BRICArts’ inaugural biennial. The exhibition, to be held at BRIC House (647 Fulton Street at Rockwell Place), will feature works by more than 20 “emerging and mid-career” artists.

For their first biennial, curators Elizabeth Ferrer, Jenny Gerow, Leslie Kerby, and Fawz Kabra have chosen pieces by artists based in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, and surrounding neighborhoods. Artists slated to show at the event include:

The show is set to run through December 14. The free opening reception will run from 7-9pm, and hours for the rest of the exhibition will run daily from 10am-8pm.
