BRIC Arts House Earns LEED Silver Certification

Congratulations are in order for BRIC Arts | Media House and UrbanGlass, which received LEED Silver certification for their environmentally friendly building!

The performance, media, and art studio hub “was designed to minimize the consumption of natural resources in construction, reduce demand for water and electricity, and offer artists and visitors a healthier indoor environment,” said BRIC in a statement on their Instagram account, shortly before UrbanGlass’ Cybele Malone and BRIC President Leslie Schultz were also cheered by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and Councilmember Laurie Cumbo.

Considering how much community use the 60,000 square foot building gets, it’s a good thing that it consumes energy wisely. Congrats!
