When you’re feeling like a spicy, meaty indulgence, there’s not much better than a pile of buffalo wings. And luckily, we’ve got some of the best right here in Park Slope — if not THE best in all of New York City.

The Daily Meal recently proclaimed the wings at Bonnie’s Grill (278 5th Avenue, between Garfield and 1st) not just the best in the city, but #4 in America. While that’s perhaps debatable, there’s certainly no arguing this recommendation:

They’re served steaming hot with just the right amount of sauce and are best washed down with one of their rotating craft beers or a cheap can of Genesee — there’s no better way to while away a lazy afternoon.

With a recent change in management at Bonnie’s — but everything else reportedly staying the same — we’d love to know if you’ve been by lately and can attest to the wings being just as delicious as always.

We do have a few other spots in the area for your wing fix, as well, including:

The Dram Shop (339 9th Street) serves up both buffalo and BBQ style, and one Yelper describes them as “damn good.”

Park Slope Ale House (356 6th Avenue) has one of our favorite happy hour food deals, with buffalo wings just 75 cents a piece Monday-Friday from 4-7pm.

Pork Slope (247 5th Avenue) has three kinds: buffalo, BBQ, and broken chili, all of which are great with a pitcher of beer late at night.

The Rock Shop (249 4th Avenue) is good for wings plus entertainment, if you’re there for a show, to play trivia, or to catch a game on one of their screens.

Wangs (671 Union Street) has ones that are definitely not your traditional wings, with whole wings done Korean-style, but they are so worth trying.
