Body Found In Plastic Bag Near Kingsborough Community College
The body of an unidentified man, wrapped in a plastic bag, was discovered in the sand Monday outside Kingsborough Community College, police say.
A caller reported the decomposing corpse at 10:20am. Authorities say the head and feet were tied to buckets filled with cement. The rest of the body covered in a green plastic bag.
Police have not identified the body and and are awaiting tests from the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
Update [May 3, 2:30pm]: The NYPD’s chief of detectives told DNAinfo the case is “obviously a homicide.” The victim also has a “substantial” tattoo of the Virgin Mary holding a rose, police told the news site.
