EAST WILLIAMSBURG – Police found a dead body near 100 Morgan Avenue on Friday, October 27, but thus far, details are scarce.
After a 911 call alerting them to a body around 3:30 pm, NYPD responded to find an elderly female, fully clothed and unresponsive, said police. EMS declared the woman dead at the scene.
According the the NYPD, the body was found “near a heavy wooded area.” The address indicated, 100 Morgan Ave, is in an industrial section of East Williamsburg, though the property does abut Newtown Creek.
An investigation is ongoing and the medical examiner is working to determine a cause of death.
