Boardwalk, Not Boardway Empire, Films In Ditmas Park This Thursday

Neighbor Sam Mackey spotted signs going up over the weekend on Ditmas, Dorchester, E 18th, and E 19th Sts. for “Boardway Empire” filming this coming Thursday, July 11. While we were really hoping for a great Boardwalk spoof, the same Location Department contact info as last time the series filmed in the neighborhood dashed our dreams.

Cars will need to be moved from streets with signs posted by 10pm on Wednesday, July 10. If your car gets relocated, call location manager Rachell at 917-671-5250.

On a more daydreamy note though, what would a true Boardwalk Empire spoof even be like? Writers, actors, filmmakers of Ditmas–any ideas?
