Boardwalk Empire Filming in Ditmas Park Again

Boardwalk Empire, the HBO television series that has filmed numerous times in our area, will be back on location next week. Keep an eye out for awesome period cars, well-dressed extras, and of course, Steve Buscemi. Has anyone ever actually spotted him filming in the neighborhood? Or noticed one of our streets in an episode?

Filming is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19 from approximately 3pm to midnight and Wednesday, February 20 from 11am to midnight. You’ll need to avoid parking on these streets beginning on Monday, February 18 at 10pm:

• E 18th St btw Dorchester Ave & Ditmas Ave, both sides
• E 19th St btw Dorchester Ave & Ditmas Ave, west side (1/4 block closer to Dorchester)
• Ocean Ave btw Cortelyou Rd & Dorchester Ave, west side
• Ocean Ave btw Dorchester Ave & Ditmas Ave, west side (1/4 block closer to Dorchester)
