Bluegrass At The Garden

KENSINGTON/WINDSOR TERRACE – Rounding out the East Fourth Street Garden’s phenomenal 2017 concert season, please join us Saturday, September 30, at 2PM when it hosts the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective, featuring Christian Apuzzo on guitar, Grant Ziolkowski on mandolin, and Ellery Marshall on banjo. Members of the BkBC have individually and collectively performed thousands of gigs nationally and internationally, from European theaters and concert halls to Tennessee house concerts to Pennsylvania barn weddings to New Jersey convention centers and every gazebo from Maine to Maryland. Now we add the East Fourth Street Community Garden to that esteemed list!

While you’re enjoying the acoustic jam, check out the garden’s temporary art installation, Park View, withsculptures by William Brayton, Reade Bryan, Aimee Burg, Derek Haffar and Courtney Puckett, in a show curated by neighbor Scott Reeds. Multitasking has never been so much fun!
The East Fourth Street Community Garden, located between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue, has served the neighborhoods of Windsor Terrace and Kensington for nearly 40 years. All events at the garden are FREE; check our upcoming events at or on our Facebook page.
