Bklyn Arctic Adventure: The Holidays Get High Tech

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – This holiday season, kids can take a sleigh ride to the North Pole and visit Santa Claus via VR technology created by Brooklyn’s YokeyPokey Virtual Reality Club.

Kicking off on Saturday, November 24, City Point will host Bklyn Arctic Adventure, a free ten-minute holiday VR experience in which guests will be equipped with VR headsets that transport them on a virtual journey featuring reindeer, snowmen, polar bears, and elves. Participants will tour a Winter Wonderland and visit Santa’s workshop.

If that isn’t enough holiday cheer, an additional VR experience, the Winter Smorgasbord, will be available for $25. This 30-minute adventure includes a snowball fight and the Santa Sling game in which players deliver presents from a flying sleigh using a magic slingshot to shoot the packages into chimneys before time runs out.
