Bike The Branches Activities Lineup: Clinton Hill, Walt Whitman, And Bedford Libraries
Bike The Branches is upon us (tomorrow, May 9)! The annual celebration of Brooklyn Public Library’s 60 neighborhood libraries begins tomorrow at 10am with the bicyclists of all ages taking off from the Central Library at Grand Army Plaza. But beyond the bike ride, we can look forward to loads of fun activities at each branch, including our own!
Here’s the rundown of some of the excitement to expect at our branches:
- Clinton Hill Library (380 Washington Avenue) — the annual Spring Plant Sale, performances by Rolie Polie Guacamole, kid crafts making pine-cone bird feeders and decorating flower planters, and more!
- Walt Whitman Library (93 St. Edwards Street) — Curious George banana hunts and guessing games for the little ones, an introduction to Walt Whitman, and more!
- Bedford Library (496 Franklin Avenue) — Turn your water bottle into a beautiful plastic flower, plus other family-friendly activities.
