Bierkraft Closed For Renovations

The neighborhood favorite Bierkraft at 191 5th Avenue between Berkeley Place and Union Street has been closed for the last couple of days, which have sparked a lot of questions, but according to a post on the shop’s Instagram account, it’s only for renovations.

However, storefront’s website and twitter accounts are also down, as reported by Here’s Park Slope. No renovation permits have been issued recently for the space according to Department of Buildings records.

Bierkraft has been in business for 13 years and sells an enormous assortment of beers from around the world, as well as a wide variety of sandwiches.

Bierkraft is right next door to Zito’s Sandwich Shoppe, which announced the closure of their 5th Avenue location on Monday on Twitter.
