Bernie Sanders To Hold Campaign Rally And Concert In Prospect Park On Sunday, April 17

Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has been criss-crossing New York state for weeks. Just two days before the New York Democratic Presidential Primary on Tuesday, April 19, Sanders will be speaking in our jewel of a backyard.

Sanders will hold a rally called “A Future to Believe In GOTV [Get Out The Vote] Rally Concert” in the Nethermead section of Prospect Park on Sunday, April 17. Doors will open at 12pm.

The event will feature a series of speakers and music before Sanders comes to the podium. Guests will include Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawai’i, actors Danny Devito and Justin Long, as well as the Brooklyn-based indie rock band Grizzly Bear.

The event is free and open to the public, however note the details below should you plan to attend.

The Rundown: Bernie Sanders Rally Concert in Prospect Park
When: Sunday, April 17. The doors open at 12pm and the music starts at 3pm.
Where: The entrance is located on the east side of park near the boathouse in Prospect Park. The event will be in the Nethermead.

What To Bring and What Not To Bring: For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security.
Transportation: Public transit is encouraged. No public parking is available on site.
