A staple of the neighborhood for more than 30 years, Ravioli Fair has moved its storefront off 86th Street over to 16th Avenue and has also launched a food truck operating on the Canarsie Pier.

The pork store, meat market, caterer and slinger of fresh made ravioli and mozzarella shuttered its long-lived storefront at 1484 86th Street in early 2014. They moved a few blocks away to 7924 16th Avenue, where it looks like they’re still getting positive reviews from locals.

More recently, the Italian caterer has started selling some of its hot cooked foods from a bright yellow truck parked on the Canarsie Pier.

New blog-on-the-block Canarsie Living has the scoop:

According to Steve Di Gesaro Jr., the food-truck was a literal and figurative vehicle for exploring new opportunities. “We’ve had a restaurant in Bensonhurst for over 30 years but we wanted to see what else is out there and food-trucks are trendy right now.” He also noted that the Canarsie waterfront is an ideal summertime location.
If you’re in the mood for something delish, Ravioli Fair Caterers offers a wide selection of freshly-made options including chicken caesar wraps, gyros and buffalo wings.

Good luck to Ravioli Fair in their new location, and on the food truck!
