Bensonhurst Weekend Subway Update – September 10-11

The subway diversions for the weekend of September 10-11 begin Friday night/Saturday morning at midnight and continue until 5am on Monday, unless otherwise noted. A reminder to travelers to Lower Manhattan that some exits and stations may be closed on Sunday, September 11 for the ceremony at the World Trade Center.

Affected train Weekend service disruption
  • Manhattan-bound D-trains run on the N-line Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street, due to structural repair and station rehabilitation from 71st Street to Bay 50th Street and ADA installation at Bay Parkway.
  • Coney Island-bound trains skip 71st Street (all times until October 28).
  • Normal service, notwithstanding the year-long closure of the Smith-9th Street station.

 

  • Coney Island-bound N-trains run on the D-line from 36th Street to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue due to track panel installation on the Sea Beach Line between 59th Street and 86th Street.
