Bensonhurst Weekend Subway Alert – July 30-31

Bensonhurst Weekend Subway Alert is a weekly look at the diversions affecting travel on the D-, F-, and N-lines through Bensonhurst and the rest of Brooklyn on the way to Manhattan. For information on diversions on other lines or beyond Brooklyn, refer to mta.info or Subway Weekender. Information is provided by the MTA and is current at the time of publication, but is subject to change.

The subway disruptions for July 23-24, begin Friday night at midnight and continue through Monday at 5am, unless otherwise noted.

Affected train Weekend service disruption
  • Manhattan-bound D-trains run on the N-line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street.
  • D-trains stop at DeKalb Ave and run local between Pacific and 36th Streets in both directions.
  • No disruptions in Brooklyn! (Although uptown F-trains run express in Manhattan from West 4th to 34th Streets) Maybe the ‘F’ stands for ‘finally’ instead of… you know.
  • Remember while there are no disruptions from (what passes as) normal service, F-trains are still skipping Smith-9th Streets in both directions, due to the Culver Viaduct Rehabilitation Project (at all times until it’s complete).

  • N-trains stop at DeKalb Ave and run local between Pacific St and 59th St in both directions. (After 10pm Friday, Downtown N-Trains run express in Manhattan from 34th to Canal Streets).
  • Coney Island-bound N-trains run on the D-line from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue.
