Bensonhurst And Bath Beach Rental Roundup: 12/24 – 12/30/2013

So jealous of that adorable dishwasher.

Looking for a new place to call home? Bensonhurst Bean has got you covered. Our rental roundup is a new feature showcasing some of the deals on the market now. If you know of a great place available for rent or are a broker representing a property you want included, contact nberke [at] bensonhurstbean [dot] com. And if you live in or near one the places below, let neighbors know what you think in the comments.

One Gutted Bedroom
Price: $1,300
Location: Avenue P and West 6th Street
Description: So there are a few reasons you might be interested in this listing. The apartment is completely renovated. From the picture, the apartment looks big. But the main reason to call, if you ask me, is that the agent looks like a model. I mean, I would call and feign interest just for the opportunity to be alone with her in a “gutted” apartment. [Ed. — That sounds creepy, Eric.]

Three Bedroom House
Price: $2,200
Location: 14th Avenue and 74th Street
Description: While this apartment may seem like a good deal, you would need to depart with a serious amount of money in the beginning. The agent requires four times the rent, $8,800. On the bright side, the agent seems to be appealing to the youth and showing them he’s hip by writing, “Beautiful Crib!” Word.

Two Bedrooms and a Berber Carpet
Price: $1,450
Location: 1760 58th Street
Description: This apartment has everything, even a carpet from Berber which is either a reference to a cheap carpet manufacturer or the African Tribe. Coincidentally – or maybe not so coincidentally – the Berber people of Africa are also known for their traditional hand-woven carpet. The apartment is approximately 800-square-feet and has been completely renovated. The windows are “treated,” not tricked.

Three Bedrooms and “Owk” Wood Floor
Price: $1,995
Location: Bay 25th Street and 20th Avenue
Description: For this price, rent is included and there are no fees. Parking is available but, like many locations, you have to pay extra for it. Now all you have to do is look past the shortcomings of the agent. Unless of-course “owk” is a new kind of wood and I just didn’t  get the memo.
