Bed-Stuy Straphanger Punched After Subway Bump
BED-STUY – Police are looking for the man who struck a fellow straphanger on the subway earlier this week.
On Monday, November 27, a 43-year old woman was exiting a southbound C train at Ralph Avenue Station around 8:00 am when she bumped into the suspect, said police. The man punched the victim in the face before fleeing the station on foot.
The victim went to Interfaith Hospital hospital where she was treated for swelling to the face, said police. Images of her assailant captured from surveillance video can be seen below:
Police described the suspect as a black man, 25-35 years of age, about 6’2″ and 210 lbs. He has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a gray jacket and jeans, with a dark colored NY baseball cap.
