BED-STUY – An argument between two women on Broadway yesterday left a 20-year old dead in the early afternoon, police confirmed.

Just before 4:00 pm, police responded to a 911 call of a woman stabbed at the grocery store at 1076 Broadway, just north of the Kosciuszko JMZ station. Arriving at the scene, they found 20-year old Ebony Young, of Bushwick, who had been stabbed in the chest, said police.

The argument between Young and her killer started nearby, as they yelled at each other through the glass doors of the Hotel RL by Red Lion, witnesses told the Daily News.

When Young ran to the deli, the other woman followed, stabbing her in the chest.

“At first I didn’t think anything of it. It happens all the time around here, so you don’t even notice,” Gumersindo Cotto, the store’s clerk, told the Daily News. “She said, ‘I got stabbed! I got stabbed!’ I tried to help her, but I couldn’t,” Cotto said. “She was dying and I called 911.”

Young was transported by EMS to nearby Woodhull Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and there are no arrests at this time, said police.
