Beautify the Neighborhood with Gabage Bins
Garbage doesn’t have to look like trash.
Kensington–and NYC, for that matter–doesn’t have ordinances regarding the aesthetics of how garbage is stored. The only criteria for garbage cans is:
Garbage receptacles (including dumpsters) must be covered at all times with securely fitting covers/lids.
These home owners, though, take pride in their front stoops and the neighborhood as is apparent by the extra care they take with garbage.
The wooden storage units are quite nice but even the receptacles below are perfectly respectable because the surrounding area is kept free of debris.
