Starting next month, you’ll be able to shop for handmade and vintage goods while snacking on tasty bites alongside that refreshing brew you were already planning on drinking at Mary’s Bar.

Just behind the bar, which is located at 708 5th Avenue on the corner of 22nd Street, their crew will be launching a new flea market called Bar n’ yard Flea (or, hah, Barnyard), and they’re currently looking for vendors who “best embody the culture and creativity of this idea, to not just make another flea market, but provide a quality neighborhood outlet.”

According to their site, they’ve already got some solid vendors lined up, including tunes to buy from our local Permanent Records, eats from the roving chef Johnny Lupiani’s Awesome Barbecue (we’ve tried his bites and can confirm they’re delicious), illustrated textiles from Jenny Herbert, and more.

Want in? They’re still setting the lineup, and it’s $100 per space for non-food vendors, $150 for food vendors for about a 6’x6x or 5’x7′ booth. If you’re interested, contact them at info@barnyardflea.com with info about yourself and what you’d like to do, including product descriptions, where and how things are made, pricing scale, links to any sites that show your products, and a few photos.

Then get ready to shop — they’re hoping to get started in May.
