Police Search For Suspect In Bank Robbery At Santander Bank
Police are searching for a suspect who pulled off an old-fashioned bank robbery — passing a note to the teller and all.
According to the police, the suspect entered a Santander Bank branch at 234 Prospect Park West, at the corner of Windsor Place, at approximately 9am on Saturday, August 29.
The cops say that the suspect then approached a teller, and handed over a written note demanding money. According to the police, the teller complied with with the suspect and handed over $7,000 in cash. The suspect then fled the premises.
Police describe the female suspect as about 5’4″ tall and weighing 115 pounds.

Update: A statement was released by Santander Bank’s Media Relations and sent to us from Ann Davis, Senior Media Relations Manager: “We are very grateful that our customers and colleagues were not injured during Saturday’s robbery. We are unable to comment any further at this time due to the ongoing police investigation.”
