Cops are after a pair of crooks who made off with a fax machine and pocket change during a home robbery Friday.
The suspects forced their way into a 76-year-old man’s 50th Street apartment as he opened the door on Friday July 8, at 11:30pm, according to police.
Once inside the apartment the suspects tied the man to a chair, demanded money and searched his residence. They fled the location with a fax machine and approximately $3 in cash, say cops. The victim was left uninjured.
Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the suspects scouting out the location before entering the apartment building. The first suspect is a white man; last seen wearing a white shirt, black baseball cap and dark colored pants. The second was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a dark-colored bucket hat and dark colored shorts.
