Bandits Carry Out Midnight Raid On Local Discount Store, Cops Say

Cops are searching for two suspects who last month carried out a midnight raid on a local discount store, in which the thieves made off with hundreds of dollars in cash.

Police say that on September 25 two white men broke into the the Leah Discount Store, located on Nostrand Avenue near Avenue T, by lifting the security gate. The burglars entered just before midnight and removed $600 from the cash register, according to the NYPD.

Police provided the surveillance photos of the suspects (shown above).

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
