BAM Senior Cinema Returns For Summer And Autumn; RSVP Now
It’s the summer of free movies for local seniors now that the BAM Senior Cinema program has confirmed and released its upcoming screening schedule, which includes classics such as “To Sir With Love,” “Moonstruck,” “The Warriors,” and “The King and I.”
Open to moviegoers aged 65 and older, the program offers free popcorn and soda, as well. It runs from July 17 through December 18 at 10am on every third Friday of the month, at BAM Rose Cinemas at 30 Lafayette Avenue.
The full Senior Cinema lineup is as follows:
- July 17: Operation Petticoat (1959) — 120 min
- August 21: Moonstruck (1987) — 102 min
- September 18: The Warriors (1979) — 93 min
- October 16: The Bad Seed (1956) — 129 min
- November 20: To Sir with Love (1967) — 105 min
- December 18: The King and I (1956) — 133 min
Reservations are required and can be made up to three weeks in advance. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-seated basis.
