The B Runs Local, The Q Goes Express & More Subway Changes This Weekend

There are several things to watch out for on our local subway lines over the next several days, including the B running local and the Q running express tomorrow. That and more, via the MTA:

Starting Thursday:

Q trains are rerouted in Manhattan
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, through Friday, November 21
Q service operates between Stillwell Avenue and DeKalb Avenue and is rerouted: one, via the D between DeKalb and 47-50 Streets and two, via the F to/from 57 Street.

Starting Friday:

Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Highway
9:45am to 2pm on Friday, November 21
Ditmars Boulevard-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
9:45am to 2pm on Friday, November 21
Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue. For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou Road, Beverley Road, and Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B or Coney Island-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Church AVenue, Newkirk Plaza, or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
No Q trains between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Avenue
All times, beginning 11pm Friday, November 21 until 5am Monday, December 1
Q service operates between 57 Street-7 Avenue/Ditmars Boulevard and Brighton Beach. Free shuttle buses run between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Avenue, stopping at Ocean Parkway and West 8 Street. Transfer between buses and trains at Brighton Beach or Stillwell Avenue.  For direct service between Stillwell Avenue and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the D or N instead.
