We’ve received word that an armed robbery occurred at the Staples at 1880 Coney Island Avenue (between Avenue O and Avenue P). Hostages were held for a short period. The robbery happened around 11 a.m. and, to our knowledge, has so far been resolved without anyone being harmed.
