Auditions and Fundraising for Spandex the Musical

Are you free today and interested in auditioning for an off-Broadway musical about the highly-competitive world of 1980s aerobics? Well look no further than Spandex, which is written and produced by neighbor Daniel F. Levin. They’re holding open auditions today at Studio 1, 777 Theatre, 777 8th Ave between 47th and 48th Streets in Manhattan:

Wednesday, March 6
1:30-4pm (walk-ins)
Callbacks will be held at:
Crunch Gym, 54th St btw 8th and Broadway
Friday, March 8
9am-12pm, 1:30-4:30pm

If you haven’t quite got the moves, but you’d like to get involved, you can help the production by donating to its indiegogo fundraiser. They’ve got until April 13 to raise $20,000, and they’re offering a range of perks, from an original Spandex headband to a personal fitness session, and more.

Tickets are also available for the limited engagement run, which is set for May 10-26.
