Audition For A Local Production Of Fiddler On The Roof
Whatever your acting or singing ability, whatever your race or age or experience, there could be a spot for you onstage in the Brooklyn Players Community Musical Theater‘s spring 2014 production of Fiddler on the Roof, which will be directed by Broadway veteran Valerie Wright.
Sign up to audition on one of the following dates:
Tuesday, December 10 starting at 7pm
Thursday, December 12 starting at 7pm
Saturday, December 14 starting at 3pm
Bring music in the style of the show (16-32 measures), or you can pick from BPCMT’s extensive collection. Arrive early as you will be asked to read sides from the show.
If you’re called back, you must be available on Sunday, December 15 from 7:15-10:15pm and Monday, December 16 from 7-10pm. Following that, rehearsals begin Sunday, January 5, 2014, and run on Sundays from 6-9:30pm, Mondays and Thursdays from 7-10pm, with additional rehearsals on Wednesday evenings starting the week of February 16. Rehearsals are held on 7th Street in Park Slope and at The Gowanus Arts Building at 295 Douglass Street.
Performances will run at The Brooklyn Music School Playhouse twice each day on Saturday, March 29 and Saturday, April 5.
