Back in the spring, Howling Wolf Productions shot scenes for their film The Walk at Ditmas Park’s Temple Beth Emeth–and now that the film is completed, the temple (located at 83 Marlborough Road on the corner of Church Avenue) has scheduled a showing for our neighbors this Sunday, December 15 at 7pm.

After the screening, The Walk director and actor Aaron Wolf will be holding a Q & A session about the film, which is described on its website:

Soon after the death of his father, Danny, a young Jewish boy growing up in late 1980s Brooklyn, meets an older Jewish man, Alfred, outside the local synagogue. The two quickly strike up a friendship as Alfred imparts life lessons during their walks through the neighborhood, to and from Temple. Over twenty years later, Danny will learn a whole new lesson he never saw coming.

The film stars Peter Riegert (The Sopranos) as Alfred, Sawyer Barth (who will also be featured in The Black Box next year) as young Danny, and Aaron Wolf as adult Danny. Admission for adults is $5, and kids under 12 are free.
