Attend A Screening Of “No Place On Earth” & Talk With Star Chris Nicola Tomorrow At The Flatbush Jewish Center
Tomorrow at the Flatbush Jewish Center (327 E 5th Street on the corner of Church Avenue), neighbors can catch a screening of No Place on Earth–the 2012 film that uses documentary footage, interviews, and reenactments to tell the story of a group of nearly 40 people who survived World War II by hiding in a southeastern Ukraine cave. Chris Nicola, the New York-based cave diver who unearthed the survivors’ story after finding some of their possessions, will conduct a question and answer session and have his book by the same name available at the event as well.
The event starts at 6:30pm, with the film at 6:50pm and refreshments to follow. While the event is free, there is a suggested donation of $5.
