Help Cops Catch Attempted Purse Snatcher [Video]

Cops have released surveillance footage of a man wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred in Sunset Park earlier this month.

The perp followed a 21-year-old woman on Monday, June 6, at 4:40pm, grabbing her purse at the corner of 55th Street and 7th Avenue, causing her to fall down, according to police. The victim suffered scratches to her right knee.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with black eyes, black hair and last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and baseball cap.
