A would-be thief had to flee empty-handed after his intended target resisted his multiple attempts to steal his Kindle, say cops, who have released the above cell phone photo of the suspect.

The attempted robber allegedly went after a 32-year-old man who was standing on the Manhattan-bound platform of the B/Q train at around 1:15pm on Thursday, July 30, attempting to grab his Kindle from his hands from behind, according to police. He tried again, this time going for the man’s glasses first, causing cuts to the victim’s face during the struggle. Eventually, the suspect fled on a Q train.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old black man, about six-feet-two-inches tall and 220 pounds.
