Brooklyn is full of unique art camps run by real artists teaching real art. The Brooklyn Design Lab focuses on the fine arts, Spoke the Hub on performing arts.

Arts
Accomplished artists teach at most of the Brooklyn art camps. Additionally, the camps use quality materials and teach real crafts. In some, campers will visit our city’s world class museums to see the work of the masters.

Barking Cat Studio

Ages 5 to 10
Karen uses the city to inspire the artistic talents in young campers. Each week artists explore a different theme including color and multi media.

These studios run morning and afternoon sessions and are ideal for focusing on a specific fine arts talent.

Space is limited for the summer program. Yet, they’ve just added the Summer Teen Intensive, a Monday/Wednesday/Friday evening program.

Hone your dance skills and learn to juggle rubber chickens at Spoke the Hub summer camp.

Summer Arts Program at Brooklyn Friends School

Registration opens on February 5th. The full summer program will be available online on February 1st.

Textile Arts Center

Summer camp early bird discounts are available. Campers ages 5-11 are welcome at the Brooklyn location. Textile Arts Center has also opened up a Manhattan location welcoming summer campers.
