Arrest In Murder Behind Home Depot In Gravesend

GRAVESEND – Police have arrested two homeless individuals in the death of a man in his 30’s.

As we reported, he was found in a wooded area behind the Home Depot on July 28, just before 1 pm and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two days later, on July 30, the death was deemed a homicide – the man had suffered head trauma as well as what the cops describe as a puncture wound to his shoulder.

This morning Elizabeth Quintanilla, 34, and Edgar Garcia, 28, were arrested and charged with the murder of the man, whose name still has not been released as police look to notify his family.
