Area Sales Bring Vintage And More To The Stoop This Wekend
Summer may be over, but out neighborhood stoop sales are still going strong:
Where: 10th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue
When: Saturday, October 12 (rain date Sunday, October 13), 10am to 5pm
What: 10th Street is stocked with stoop sale goodies this weekend. Look for electronics (including a gently used but powerful microwave, an almost new Printer/Scanner, and a 32″ Color TV), men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, coats, jewelry, housewares, furniture and more.
Where: 10th Avenue, between Prospect Park Southwest and 16th Street
When: Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, 10am
What: Up in neighboring Windsor Terrace we’ve got “nice old stuff priced to sell.” Look for household items (pots, pans, dishes, wool blankets, pillows, rugs, light fixtures), clothing (vintage and current women’s and men’s wear), decor (glass and crystal bowls, lamps, art posters, collectibles), furniture (tables – coffee, card and old, small maple tables, bookshelves), and some really cool miscellaneous items (old hand tools, electric typewriters, mid-century items, costume jewelry, two 24″ x 24″ antique stained glass windows).
Where: 214 Prospect Park West, between 16th Street and Windsor Place
When: Sunday, October 13, 10am to 3pm
What: Also in Windsor Terrace is this Prospect Park West open house sale (items shown above) with furniture, records, kitchen appliances, air conditioners, shelves, frames, wall art, jewelry, a 12-speed Huffy bike, knick knacks and more.
