We Are All Brooklyn (WAAB), a local organization dedicated to by uniting diverse communities in and out of our borough and mentoring residents interested in making a change, is currently seeking applicants for its 2013 Fellowship. The group says:
The WAAB Fellowship is a 10-month leadership development program dedicated to advancing the next generation of Brooklyn’s diverse leaders and helping them become change agents to strengthen Brooklyn.
Emerging community leaders, as well as faith-based, government, and non-profit organizations serving Brooklyn, are all eligible for the Fellowship. Highlights of the program include learning professional development techniques, meeting with NYC leaders, expanding your network, and completing projects with an action committee.
