The NYPD is investigating who is behind hateful graffiti discovered Tuesday on an Ocean Parkway mailbox in Kensington, according to a report by News 12 Brooklyn.

The phrases, which can be seen in the video posted by News 12, were written during Ramadan, when Muslims around the globe fast from sunrise to sunset, in part to better understand the experiences of those less fortunate than them.

Kensington has had issues with this kind of graffiti in the past – in fact, the exact same phrase that is pictured above has been scrawled before.

We’ll let you know as soon as we find out anything more about this.
