Another Suspect Arrested In McDonalds “Gang Assault”

Police have arrested a Fort Greene man on charges of “inciting riot” during the violent melee at the Flatbush Avenue McDonald’s last Thursday afternoon.

Amir McCants, 24, of Sands Street, was apprehended earlier today. This leaves one more identified suspect whose image is being circulated by cops in relation to the assault, which left a 17-year-old girl with a head injury, injured eye, and damaged teeth, and a 43-year-old Good Samaritan with bruising to his head, face, and body.

The remaining suspect is one of several being sought. He is seen photos in surveillance photos wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a light colored backpack with pink coloring.

[Update as of 5/20: The final suspect, a 15-year-old female, has been apprehended.]
