Another 99 Cent Store Opens on Coney Island Ave
A new 99 cent store has opened on Coney Island Avenue, this one on the corner of Foster, in what used to be a medical office. Much the same way you can still see the letters of Nitecaps underneath the sign for the 99 cent store on CIA next to the Kent movie theater, you’ll notice here that the old office’s phone number is still posted on the corner of this shop.
If you’re counting, that makes four in about a 3/4-mile stretch of CIA from the one in the old Nitecaps to Cortelyou Road. But hey, happy to have a thriving business over an empty storefront.
