Annual Park Slope Halloween Parade Is On Friday
2013 Halloween Parade: Brooklyn Bridge

One of the most fun neighborhood events of the year, the annual Park Slope Civic Council Halloween Parade is back this Friday, October 31!

The parade, which brings out elected officials, Civic Council trustees, and of course dressed-up residents, kicks off at 14th Street and 7th Avenue at 6:30pm. If you’re marching, line up on 14th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, and then walk along with your creepy, crawly, and fantastically costumed neighbors to the conclusion point at the Old Stone House.

Volunteers and merchants along 7th and 5th Avenues will be on hand with an abundance of sweets and treats for trick-or-treating kids, and giant puppets and live bands round out the experience. At the end in the park, there will be a community gathering and dancing with the parade bands, where the fun wraps up at 9pm.
