Annual Chand Raat Bazaar On Coney Island Avenue Thursday Night

The annual Chand Raat Bazaar from the American Council of Minority Women will take place on Thursday, July 16 starting at 5pm on Coney Island Avenue between Foster Ave and Avenue H.

Chand Raat is a big celebration with a lot of shopping, where you stock up for Eid al-Fitr, aka Eid, a three-day holiday that marks the end of Ramadan. Expect deals on clothing, jewelry, gifts, and more, plus food, music, and presentations by local officials.

The event adds some traffic to Coney Island Avenue in both directions, so avoid the area if you’re driving.
