Chand Raat Bazaar on Coney Island Avenue

The annual Chand Raat Bazaar from the American Council of Minority Women will take place on Saturday, August 18 starting at 5pm on Coney Island Avenue between Foster Ave and Avenue H. Chand Raat is a big celebration with a lot of shopping, where you stock up for Eid al-Fitr, aka Eid, a three-day holiday that marks the end of Ramadan.

The event closes down CIA in both directions (so avoid the area if you’re driving), and they’re anticipating about 25,000 people will attend.
