An Update On DF Studios From Ditmas Fitness Owner Juan Spencer

Some of you have been wondering about the latest on DF Studios, the Ditmas Fitness-offshoot yoga and pilates studio taking over the former It’s A Dog’s World space at 593 Coney Island Ave.

While owner Juan Spencer‘s original plan was to open on May 6, he decided to take a step back, open later, and ensure the best quality studio possible. Juan says:

Most of the major work is very close to completion, the flooring will be done this week and then the fine tuning. Next I will be releasing the policies, website and Facebook page. The new target opening date is June 3, the tentative launch festivities  are scheduled for June 1.

I want this space to be a special place that people will enjoy, feel comfortable and want to be in.

Juan says he’s confident he should be able to open on time with this new schedule–he just had to put a bit more work into the space than initially expected.

So, get your yoga mats ready for June 3!
