Amma-Chili Basil Thai Kitchen Relocating To Church Avenue

Thanks to neighbor Anita for pointing this out, we’ve learned that Amma-Chili Basil Thai Kitchen (359 McDonald Avenue) is relocating from their current home at 359 McDonald Avenue to 1003 Church Avenue (where Am Thai Bistro is) as of September 30.

From a letter posted at the Kensington location:

To our customers,

In order to better serve our customers, Amma-Chili Basil Thai Kitchen will be relocating to our new address at 1003 Church Ave (Am Thai Bistro) as of Sept. 30. During this transition, we will continue to provide the same excellent service you have come to expect from us. Please note that all other contact information will remain the same.

We want to thank you for your past business and support. We are very thankful and grateful in having you as a customer.

We know at least one customer who’s not happy to hear about the move (Anita’s “NOOOOOOOO” gave us that hint), and we wanted to hear from other neighbors what they think of the relocation?

Also, we haven’t heard what could be coming to the soon-to-be-vacant McDonald Avenue space yet – what do you hope goes in there?
