American Cheez Coming To Bar 4 Space

Bar 4 closed its doors on August 15, and it looks like we’ve already got a new bar/restaurant on the way.

Neighbor Kristen Wilke snapped the above photo of American Cheez, which is in the process of applying for its liquor license at 444 7th Avenue. Unfortunately, a friendly recording let us know that the telephone number listed on the form is “not in service,” and an online search didn’t reveal any details on what type of restaurant is coming in.

So, American Cheez is a bit of a mystery right now. More grilled cheese? Cheesesteaks? Copious amounts of Cheez-It crackers? Nothing to do with cheese at all? Inquiring minds want to know.
