Ambulance Injures Pedestrian After Jumping Curb On 8th Avenue

A private ambulance careened into another vehicle and then landed on the sidewalk early this morning, the Daily News reported.

According to an FDNY spokesperson, the incident took place shortly before 6am on Tuesday, August 23 at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Union Street.

The ambulance injured one pedestrian after jumping the curb and smashing into the corner of the stone wall on the northeast corner of the intersection.

Information about the cause of the crash or charges filed have not yet been provided by police.
